The New Zealand Team will be preparing and serving the evening meal at the Inter Association Championships as a fundraiser. There will be an Auction on the Friday night, in conjunction with the Junior team. Full support of these fundraisers would be most appreciated.
NEW ZEALAND UNDER 21 TEAM:
Regrettably Rick Murray has had to withdraw as the Coach for the Under 21 team. The new Coach is Shane Hill and the manager is to be named.
NEW ZEALAND JUNIOR TEAM:
The Coach for the Junior Team to travel to New South Wales is Paddy Cornelius with Nicky Cornelius as the team manager. This team will be travelling to Albury to take part in the 2009 Multi States Junior Series. As mentioned above, there will be an Auction held on the Friday night of the Inter Association Championships to help with fundraising for this tour.

Horse Pens: Use open pens only! Please do not use covered pens or you will be charged $12.00 per night extra.
Evening Meal and Entertainment: $15.00 per person, $1.00 per year for children up to 10 years. Dress code- semiformal (appropriate to wear NZ blazer) - definitely no riding attire allowed.
Feature Game: Queensland playing New Zealand Team at 6.00pm Saturday 7th for the Cooper Shield. This is the major fundraising event for the season for the NZ Polocrosse 2011 World Cup Fundraising committee - and they would appreciate as many playing members and their families supporting this event and the Saturday night evening meal. The committee appreciates all the support that clubs are able to give to enable this Domhealth tournament to function.
HORSE OF THE YEAR & HASTINGS POLOCROSSE CLUB CARNIVAL:
Thank you to those Clubs that have already submitted their entries – your promptness is very much appreciated! For those emailing them (debstirls@hotmail.com), please try to send as a Word Doc or as a jpg. If you are mailing them (c/Finders Keepers, 41 Kennedy Rd., Napier, 4110), they need to be sent YESTERDAY!
If you have Club Members that are on, or will possibly be on, either the U-21 team or the President’s Select Team, then make sure a registration form is still sent for them. Hastings will change their Team Name and Entry Details if they are selected to one of these sides. .
A compilation sheet with all entries will be sent to your Club’s Secretary to double-check all details.

INTER – ASSOCIATION CHAMPIONSHIPS 3rd & 4th APRIL 2009:
A reminder to all Associations that entries for the Inter Association Championships are due in 14 days prior to the event.
Entries must be received by the 20th March and should be sent to the New Zealand Polocrosse Board Secretary, PO Box 228, WANGANUI. Entries are to include the name of each Associations Liaison Officer.
Divisions: This year will see the running of a mixed division, which requires Associations to play their 3 best women in this section. There will be no ladies division. There will be a First, Second and Third Division in the Open Division, entries permitting. Entry fee: $240.00 per team ($40.00 per player). A flyer will be sent out by the 13th March.

NEW ZEALAND UMPIRES PANEL – SEMINAR FOR FEMALE PLAYERS:
The New Zealand Umpires Panel is running a seminar for female players, on the Friday night at the Inter Association Championships ion Wanganui, at 7.30pm. They will go over the rules and the best way to umpire them; how to deal with managing the players and what you are in charge of as an umpire.
There will be light refreshment. Let the boys deal with feeding the horses and the kids – spend some time with the girls!
