2011 WORLD CUP – EXPRESSIONS OF INTERSET from PLAYERS:
Due to the deposit on the entry fee and accommodation being required for the 2011 World Cup, the Board is calling for players to “identify” themselves if they are available for selection for the

2011 World Cup team, including the ensuing tours and games prior to 2011.
Please bear in mind the huge commitment that this will require from players - with the probability of being away for up to six week, time off work, cost involved and time away from family.

HORSEMANSHIP CLINICS:
Only one response was received for the Horsemanship Clinics with Gary Malcolm – very disappointing! Some people have mentioned that their Clubs would be interested but they hadn’t “got around to letting anyone know”. PUBLICITY OFFICER:
It is with deep regret and sadness that the New Zealand Polocrosse Board have received and accepted Carey Wenns resignation as Publicity Officer. The Board would like to sincerely thank Carey for the absolutely amazing job that she has done in raising the awareness and profile of polocrosse in New Zealand over the last four and a half years!
Jenna Mullooly has very kindly agreed to take on this position. The Board would like to welcome Jenna in to this position and thank Jenna for taking on this role.

AFFILIATIONS & CLUB LEVIES:
Affiliations and Club Levies ($100.00 per Club) are due to the Board Secretary by 30th November 2009. Attached Affiliation list and forms. Where possible please fill in form electronically and return by e-mail to saunders-loder@actrix.co.nz

CARNIVAL LEVIES:
Carnival levies remain at $10.00 per player, payable 7 days after the carnival. Clubs are to forward a list of players names with the payment. Forms attached.

NATIONAL FIXTURE DATES & LEVIES:
To encourage youth the team levies for the Juniors and Intermediates shall remain at $60.00 per team. Roke & Rockwood and the Inter Association team levies shall be $90.00 per team.

PLAYERS TRAVELLING OVERSEAS:
As per the International Umpires meeting in July 2009 – “Any player or official wishing to participate in polocrosse in another nation must obtain prior written approval from his/her home national association”. Forms are now available on the website for players wishing to travel overseas. These forms need to be completed and a copy returned to the New Zealand Polocrosse secretary. The forms need to be signed by New Zealand Polocrosse before players are able to play overseas. Those players going to the United Kingdom will also need to complete the UK testimonial form.

King Country Saddlery in Taumarunui, also stocks a range of Polocrosse racquets and balls.
Bomber Racquets are available in New Zealand through Bruce Hundley.

New Zealand Polocrosse Caps are available from Robin Cave whilst lovely polo shirts are available from Ruth Tye as a fundraiser for the 2011 World Cup.
