Terry-Lee (nickname “Ree) is a 15 year old member of the Tuwharetoa Polocrosse Development squad and has played Polocrosse for 2 years.
She is a current member of the Turangi Pony club and has been for the last 2 years.
Terry attends Tongariro Area School as a year 11 student where she is enrolled in the Tongariro Equine and Agricultural program. Terry-Lee was also a member of the school Equestrian team.
Terry-Lee rides her 8 year old quarter- horse cross ‘Dodge’, daily with Savannah Larsen-Church and also trains with Gregory Gloyn.
Her sporting interests are Polocrosse, Basketball, Touch, Badminton, Squash, Volleyball and Netball. She has played netball since she was 4 years old, is currently playing for
Turangi Angels Majik and has done so for the last 6 years. She was also a Taupo Netball Representative Player for the Under 15’s. Terry-Lee has played A grade netball for the last 2 years and currently trains 3 days a week as well as training her horse 4 days a week.
Terry-Lee has been recognized in the last 2 local Sports awards for “Junior Dedication to Club”
Her hobbies are listening to music, swimming and hanging out with her friends.
Terry-Lee’s future career aspects are to be a Farm Manager, Playing Netball for the Silver Ferns and representing New Zealand for Polocrosse. |
