Polocrosse World Cup 2011 – Information for competing countries

Dates – the event will be held from 4 – 18 July 2011 (inclusive).

Location – Bishop Burton College York Rd, Bishop Burton Beverley.

Venue Details – Bishop Burton College is one of UK’s finest land based colleges located near the historic town of Beverley, in the East Riding of Yorkshire, with many areas of historic and tourist interest nearby.

The venue has the capacity for a fantastic event including ample flat land for at least six polocrosse fields and stabling for 200 horses. Veterinary / horse welfare, isolation, and penning facilities, plus indoor and outdoor arenas, are all part of the make up for an excellent equine tournament.
There is also accommodation for players, management and spectators along with camping, toilets and showers, hospitality and corporate facilities, catering, bar and a media centre with onsite security and event ground maintenance.

The United Kingdom Pony Club will be invited to hold an International Polocrosse Pony Club tournament with all the horses provided by the pony club.
