The majority of the squad is made up of New South Wales and Western Australia names following the form of the Australian Polocrosse Nationals where these two states featured in both the Men’s and Ladies’ finals.  As always there are some names that featured in the 2007 World Cup as well as some names that are known in polocrosse circles but have not yet made that final leap. 

The squad will now play at selection trials at tournaments on the east coast of Australia.  The final squad will be announced in September with trainings then continuing right through until the World Cup.
